SEOUL Jnauary 6 (Yonhap) -- Naejangsan Mountain Water Park located within Jungeup City in North Jeolla province will be hosting “2023, Naejangsan Mountain Ice Festival” from January 13 until 17, addressed Jeongup city government on Friday.
Upcoming festival is planned out in order to showcase the beauty of Naejangsan Mountain’s beautiful aesthetics during winter.
On January 13, to kick off the festival, number of drones will spread throughout the sky of Naejangsan Mountain celebrating the start of the festival.
200 of the drones will recreate the autumn leafs, ice castles, wishing tree, and various unique and memorable scenery.
Throughout the festival site various ice sculptures such as igloos, ice castle and more will be showcased.
Moreover, the festival will feature ice slides and sleigh, curling, ice sculpting, and various activities.
Mayor of Jungeup city Lee Hak-su addressed “I hope a lot of people will visit the ‘2023 Naejangsan Mountain Ice Festival and create a long lasting memory,” adding “We will put safety as our number one priority throughout the festival so everyone can enjoy the festival.”
