SEOUL, April 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), who have shown rapid growth in popularity, will perform on a U.S. talk show for the first time to officially start their global journey.

According to Big Hit Music on the 8th, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will perform "We Lost The Summer", a song from their third mini album, "Minisode1: Blue Hour," on the 16th (KST) at the Ellen DeGeneres Show, a famous talk show in the U.S.

It is the first time for TOMORROW X TOGETHER to present a performance on an American TV talk show.

"We Lost The Summer" is a song about the so-called "corona blue" experienced by teenagers, and it expresses anxiety and confusion felt after the daily lifestyle that was taken for granted disappeared.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER has also distinguished themselves in the foreign music markets by presenting rich expressive and refreshing music as well as drawing attention for being managed as the same agency as the world renowned K-pop group, BTS.

The boy band's debut album, "The Dream Chapter: Magic", which was released in March 2019 as well as their Japanese first full-length album, "Still Dreaming" have been put on the Billboard 200 Chart, one of Billboard's main album charts.

Last year in May, TOMORROW X TOGETHER appeared on MTV Fresh Out Live, an American music program, performing the title track "Can't You See Me?" from their second mini album, "The Dream Chapter: Eternity" on stage.
