SEOUL, Apr. 6 (Yonhap) – K-pop 6-member boy group BTOB has been appointed as an ambassador for “2022 Boryeong Sea Mud Exhibition.”

BTOB’s members, including the leader Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Lee Chang-sub, Im Hyun-sik, and Peniel Shin, have participated in the Honorary Ambassador Appointment Ceremony, which was held at Press Center in Seoul on Apr. 6. Member Yook Sung-jae was absent from the event.

Besides BTOB, actress Sunwoo Yong-nyeo, Moon Hee-kyung, comedian Nam Hee-Seok, and rock singer Park Sang-min have also been appointed as ambassadors for the exhibition.

The ambassadors will join diverse events, including the opening and closing ceremony of 2022 Boryeong Sea Mud Exhibition, as well as its official events and promotional videos.

BTOB members, who were in black suits, attached the character badges of the exhibition and chanted while wishing for the success of 2022 Boryeong Sea Mud Exhibition.

Member Im Hyun-sik said, “I will apply Boryeong sea mud for my skin,” while Seo Eun-kwang said, “Please come and join Boryeong Sea Mud Exhibition.”

2022 Boryeong Sea Mud Exhibition will be held under the theme of “Rediscovery of the ocean, future value of the mud” at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, from July 16 to Aug. 15.
