SEOUL September 1 (Yonhap) -- Rookie k-pop girl group New Jeans' pop up store celebrating the debut of the group has accumulated over 17 thousand visitors, according to the group’s agency ADOR on Thursday.
The popup store of New Jeans which opened on the sub level 2 of the department store “The Hyundai” located in Yeouido, Seoul which opened up in August 12 welcomed its visitors for total of 20 days. Reservation for the popup store ended four hours early due to increased amount of visitors on August 31.
Visitors of the pop up store engaged themselves in activities such as listening to their tracks and watching the music videos of New Jeans through the receiver placed within the store. Solo version of the pre-existing track “Hurt” from their debut album recorded by each individual members of New Jeans' album and unrelieved clips was revealed exclusively throughout the event.
New Jeans' debut track “Attention” topped South Korea’s biggest streaming platform for 18 consecutive days.
