SEOUL, July 15 -- Chinese actor Yu Xiaoguang(于曉光·39), husband of South Korean actress Choo Ja Hyun, uploaded a video denying the doubts spread through online about his cheating. 

 

His agency, BH Entertainment, released an official announcement concerning this affair on the 15th saying that, "It (the problematic photograph) was only a coincidental event on their way home after a gathering of acquaintances last May," and that "the people appeared in the video are close neighbors with the director and also have acquaintance with each other's families."

 

At the same time, they added that they "would be more careful with this issue of having acted in a way that can raise misconceiving even in close relationships."

Also the announcement included, "For many those who love Yu Xiaoguang and Choo Ja Hyun couple, the people in this matter have promised to be more cautious about their future actions considering the spread of this issue."

In the video spread through online earlier, Yu Xiaoguang got in a car, seated a woman on his lap and the car departed. A Chinese Entertainment News Media covered this video reporting, "Yu Xiaoguang emerged from a bar late at night and left with a woman in a car together."

 

Yu Xiaoguang had appeared in TV with Choo Ja Hyun in 'Same Bed, Different Dreams', a reality variety program that closely observes and shows the lives of star couples. He was loved by the viewers for his warm care for his wife which earned him his nickname, 'Woo-vely(Yu Xiaoguang's Korean name 'Woo Hyo Kwang' in conjunction with 'lovely')' meaning lovely Woo Hyo Kwang.

 

Yu Xiaoguang and Choo Ja Hyun had first met shooting a Chinese drama in 2021, officially started dating in 2015, married in 2017 and had a son in 2018.
