SEOUL, June 13 (Yonhap) – S. Korean actors Choi Min-sik and Son Suk-ku will work together in Disney Plus’ original series “Casino.”

Disney Plus has revealed the cast of “Casino” including Choi Min-sik, Son Suk-ku, Lee Dong-hwi, and Heo Sung-tae on Monday.

“Casino” depicts the story of a man, who became a king in the casino industry, returning to the game scene for his life after losing everything due to a series of events.

It is the first drama of Choi Min-sik, a representative actor in South Korea, in 24 years since “Love and Farewell”(1997~1998).

The drama also increased expectations as it stars Son Suk-ku, who has been drawing great attention as he recently appeared in the drama “My Liberation Notes” and the movie “The Roundup.”

Moreover, Lee Dong-hwi, who has played unique characters in the movie “Extreme Job” and the drama “Pegasus Market,” and Heo Sung-tae from “The Host” and “Squid Game” will appear in the drama.

It is directed by Kang Yoon-sung, who has shown intense action scenes and speedy story through the movie “The Outlaws”(2017).

“Casino” will be revealed worldwide through Disney Plus in the second half of this year.
