SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- Rain has been selected as the tribute artist for the music festival "Weverse Con Festival," set to take place June 6-7 in Seoul, organizer HYBE said Wednesday.

The festival will be held at KSPO Dome and the 88 Lawn Yard in Olympic Park.

HYBE also unveiled the final lineup, which includes ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, Soobin of Tomorrow X Together, and Zico, among others.

Regarding Rain, HYBE said he set a new benchmark for K-pop solo artists with numerous hit songs such as "Bad Guy" and "How to Avoid the Sun," and successfully completed a world tour spanning more than 12 countries in 2006, becoming the first Korean solo artist to do so.

The tribute stage will feature Rain’s solo performance as well as tribute stages by junior artists.

This year’s festival will also feature a rookie five-member boy group composed of former Zerobaseone members Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, Han Yu-jin and Yoo Seung-eon.

A total of 30 teams will perform at the festival, marking the largest scale in its history.

HYBE said the event aims to present a diverse range of popular music and offer a special experience where audiences with different musical tastes can come together and enjoy the performances.
