SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- The popular American TV series “Your Honor,” adapted from the Israeli TV show "Kvodo," will get a Korean remake.


Content convergent company Take One Studio announced that it signed a production deal with the film company Film Monster, for the Korean remake of “Kvodo," on Thursday. 


Pyo Min-soo, who directed “The Third Charm,” “The Producers,” and “Iris 2,” will produce the upcoming Korean remake.

“Kvodo” is a thriller drama about a respected judge who tries to cover the case of his son’s hit and run, in which the victim is a member of a crime party.

The series was recreated in many countries including the United States, Germany, Spain, and Italy, and the American remake “Honor” also gained popularity in Korea.

Meanwhile, the Korean version of “Kvodo” will begin filming early next year.
