SEOUL, Sept. 15 (Yonhap) — South Korean game developer Devsisters announced Wednesday that it will collaborate with Japanese video game company Sega.
Devsisters plans to feature Sega's representative character SegaSonic the Hedgehog in its popular mobile role-playing game (RPG) “Cookie Run: Kingdom,” and hold offline events at theme park Tokyo Joypolis in Odaiba, Tokyo.
“Cookie Run: Kingdom” ranked first in Japan's two major app markets, and its sales ranking landed at No. 59 in terms of Apple's app store.
In the United States, the mobile game ranked as No. 15 in popularity and No. 31 in sales in the Apple App Store.
