SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) – Music of “Cotton Candy,” an idol girl-group in JTBC’s upcoming Mondays-Tuesdays series, “IDOL : The Coup,” will be pre-released before the drama’s premier.

Cotton Candy’s debut single “White Day” will be released at 6 p.m. Monday through online music sites before the drama’s first episode’s airing on the 8th, JTBC announced. The song was produced and arranged by multiple artists, including AVIN, SLAY, and girl group Secret Number's latest added member Minji. 

In the drama, “White Day” is the girl band’s debut single dropped 6 years ago. The retro-style sync-pop dance song carries a girl shyly delivering her feelings on White Day to her first love who came like a gift to her.

 

The upcoming series aiming to realistically depict the idol world will send out its first episode at 11 p.m. on the 8th.

Ahn Hee-yeon (Je-na), Ahn Sol-bin (Hyun-ji), Han So-eun (Stella), Choo So-jung (L) and Kim Ji-won (Chae-ah) have gathered as a failed idol group in their 6th year of debut. The five members will present a heart-touching challenge-story of the girls progressing to touch the bottom and move onto a new dream.
