SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Yonhap) -- MMORPG “MIR 4”’s number of concurrent users around the world has exceeded 1.3 million, its producer and South Korean video game company, WeMade announced Friday.

The game’s global version released in August uses a Blockchain technology, NFT (Non-fungible Token) and utility coin.

The company initially launched the global version in 11 servers, but as users have increased, they have expanded the servers into 207.

“’MIR 4’’s success is unprecedented,” said the head of WeMade.

About other game companies’ movements to develop Blockchain games, the head of the company said, “Many followers mean that our vision is the right direction.”
