When you're in Seoul, a variety of food adventures await you and one of the highlights is Korea's soul food, 'Gimbap.' In Seoul's largest market, Gwangjang Traditional Market, there is a special kind of gimbap called 'Nude Gimbap.'
Within the alleyways of Gwangjang traditional market, you can find the 'Original Nude Gimbap.' Nude gimbap is made by rolling seaweed and other ingredients into the rice, unlike traditional gimbap where the rice is rolled into the seaweed.
Although it might seem unusual at first, the taste is excellent. The delightful sensation of warm rice touching your palate can only be experienced when you eat nude gimbap. Moreover, this place offers 'Japchae' alongside gimbap. Its sweet and savory taste is good, so I recommend enjoying it with gimbap.
Here's another tip! They also sell fish cake ('Eomuk'), so if you visit on a chilly day, it will be a great choice to try it along with gimbap. The warm fish cake soup will help melt away the coldness in your body.
