SEOUL February 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korean drama series, “Taxi Driver” which was loved by wide number of audiences by showcasing the process of revenge for the weak has returned with its second season.

South Korean actor Lee Jae-hoon, who acted out the protagonist figure who has participated in the press conference of the season 2 of “Taxi Driver” which was held at the headquarter of the SBS located in Seoul on February 17, showcased his confidence regarding the upcoming season.

“Taxi Driver” is a south Korean drama series is about protagonist Kim Do-gi and a mysterious taxi company which provides private revenge service to those in need of help.

Throughout the season one of the series, the drama successfully portrayed social problems such as violence within the work environment, voice phishing and more, and mysterious taxi company which provides revenge service to those in need of help through power of dark hero.

Actor Lee Jae-hoon addressed “Through the drama I hope a lot of people will be able to remember those who have suffered from unfortunate crimes and those who have taken the advantage of weak people,” adding “Throughout the upcoming season, Kim Do-gi and his company will provide revenge service to those who have done the bad deed to the innocent.”

Moreover, actor stated “In order to help out producer Lee Dan, I have personally told the director I am fine with action scenes so feel free to include action scenes if needed, not knowing how much actions scenes I will have to go through.”

“Taxi Driver” season two will feature a newly joined character on top of the members of the Rainbow Taxi Company from the previous season.

Rainbow Taxi Company will feature a newly admitted member On Ha-jun acted by actor Shin Jae-ha.

With his cute and bright outlook he receives a lot of love by number of people, however unlike his character, when he rolls out for his mission, On Ha-jun creates trouble.

Actor Shin Jae-ha addressed “On Ha-jun is like a big dog,” adding “You can’t really hate him despite how he fails and causes trouble throughout his missions.”

Producer Lee-dan picked out the sub characters throughout the season to be one of the points to look out for in season two of “Taxi Driver.”

Members of Rainbow Taxi Company will disguise as various sub characters in order to get close to those who suffer from school violence victims and more.

Producer Lee Dan stated “I think I have constantly questioned myself ‘How will they be able to successfully portray such scenes,’ however unlike my worries all of the actors have successfully acted out their sub characters.”

Moreover, director addressed “In order to provide more acceptable, and connection point between viewers and various episodes we have incorporated various social problems such as real estate scams and more. Also we have made it pg 15 for more people to view and enjoy the series.”
