SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Yonhap) -- Ballad singer Shin Seung-hun will release a studio album next month to mark the 35th anniversary of his debut, his agency said Thursday.
Dorothy Company said Shin will drop his 12th full-length album “Sincerely Melodies” on Sept. 23. It will be his first studio album in about 10 years since “I am…& I am” in 2015.
The title “Sincerely Melodies” carries the meaning of “melodies completed from the heart.” Shin took part in producing and composing all tracks, leading the entire production process. A track from the album will be pre-released Sept. 10.
Shin debuted in 1990 with the song “Reflection of You in Your Smile” and became known for hits such as “I Believe,” “Invisible Love” and “Don’t Make Me Cry.” He set records by achieving seven consecutive million-seller albums from his first to seventh albums, with cumulative sales surpassing 17 million copies.
