SEOUL, Mar. 10 (Yonhap) -- The tvN's new Wednesday and Thursday drama "Kill Heel" starring actresses Kim Ha-neul, Lee Hye-young, and Kim Sung-ryung started off with viewership of 4 percent range.
The first episode of “Kill Heel,” which was aired on Mar. 9 at 10:30 p.m., recorded 4.4 percent in viewership, according to the ratings company Nielsen Korea on Thursday.
"Kill Heel," which depicts unbounded desires and desperate struggles of three women in the competitive world of home shopping networks, displayed the situation and emotions of each character in the first episode.
Kim Ha-neul illustrated her complex inner feelings of losing herself by playing a show host Woo-hyun, who makes it through the day in a fading presence.
Lee showed off her charisma by playing a perfectionist Mo-ran, who climbed from humble beginnings to reach the vice president on her own.
Kim Sung-ryung played the role of a top show host Ok-sun and presented a character who seems to have a perfect life. Ok-sun showed loving moments with her sweet husband and her adorable son, but she unveiled displeasure as soon as her husband touched her body, raising curiosity of the viewers.
Meanwhile, JTBC's Wednesday and Thursday drama “Thirty-Nine” starring Son Ye-jin was on a hiatus due to the 20th presidential election broadcast in South Korea.
