SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- SM Entertainment has donated 300 million won for the recovery of the wildfire damage in North Gyeongnam Province, Ulsan and North Gyeongnam Province, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on Thursday. 

 

SM stated, "We express our heartfelt condolences to those affected by the sudden wildfire and decided to donate to provide practical assistance to neighbors in urgent need during this disaster."

 

The K-pop behemoth has been actively involved in various donation activities during times of disaster, such as floods, earthquakes, and the COVID-19 pandemic, among other social crises. 

 

This donation is part of the company's efforts to realize solidarity and responsibility on a corporate level.
