SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- Kangin, a former member of K-pop group Super Junior, will release a new digital single titled "Love Is Pain" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, his agency SM Entertainment said.

"Love Is Pain" is a warm ballad expressing gratitude toward loved ones who remain by one’s side. Kangin participated in both writing and composing the song.

It marks his first new release in about a decade since "Memories," an original soundtrack from the 2015 JTBC drama "D-Day."

Kangin left Super Junior in 2019 and recently resumed activities with his fan meeting tour "Stunning Together." The tour began in Manila in January and continued in Ho Chi Minh City and Mexico City, with another stop scheduled in Tokyo on May 23.
