SEOUL, April 14 (Yonhap) -- Vidivici, a beauty brand under Shinsegae International, said Tuesday it has entered 169 offline stores across Japan, stepping up efforts to expand in the local market.
The brand will roll out its products at major Japanese retail chains, including Loft, Plaza and @cosme, starting this month.
Based on the expansion, Vidivici plans to strengthen local marketing efforts and aims to increase its sales in Japan more than 14-fold from a year earlier.
The move follows strong demand in the Japanese market. The brand’s sales in Japan surged 60-fold in the first quarter from a year earlier, while sales on the e-commerce platform Qoo10 jumped more than 50-fold.
A company official said Vidivici will enhance customer experiences both online and offline while promoting the brand’s quality and value, adding it aims to establish itself as a long-lasting brand in Japan beyond short-term popularity.
