SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Yonhap) -- Boy group SEVENTEEN member Vernon will release his first solo mix-tape "Black Eye" on Friday, announced his agency Pledis Entertainment.

The mix-tape is composed of only one song, "Black Eye," a pop funk genre. The singer is credited with writing and composing.

Vernon has been showing his musical colors lately, releasing a collaborative song "Beg For You" with Singer songwriter Charlie XCX in February and featuring in the title track "Wrecker" of rapper Omega Sapien's EP album "Wuga" in June.
