SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- Global beauty brand Manyo Factory said it will participate in Olive Young's June sales event, running from May 31 to June 6, offering special discounts and promotional benefits on its most popular products from the first half of the year.

 

For the upcoming sale, Manyo Factory has prepared a range of special sets centered on its signature Pure Soybean Cleansing line and the Glutathione 7 Dark Spot line, which has emerged as a major skincare trend both in South Korea and overseas.

 

The company said customers will be able to enjoy expanded benefits for the "Pure Soybean Cleansing Line," which recently gained strong popularity following a major renewal in April and the release of a Pokemon edition in May.

 

The "Pure Soybean Cleansing Oil Pokemon Edition" will be offered at a 39 percent discount during a one-day "Today's Special" promotion on May 31, the first day of the sale event. The "Pure Soybean Cleansing Milk" and "Pure Soybean Cleansing Foam" will also be available as Pokemon-themed special sets with discounts.

 

Manyo Factory will also hold a purchase verification event during the sale period from May 31 to June 6, featuring travel-themed prizes ahead of the vacation season.

 

Customers who verify purchases of the "Pure Soybean Cleansing Oil 200ml Double Special Set" will be entered into a drawing for one of 10 Korean Air gift cards worth 500,000 won (US$365) each and 10 Fujifilm Instax Wide 400 cameras. The first 1,000 participants will receive Olive Young gift cards worth 5,000 won. Customers purchasing the Pokemon edition products will also be eligible for the event.

The company will also offer promotions on its "Glutathione 7 Dark Spot Line," which has recently drawn strong consumer response.

 

The "Glutathione 7 Dark Spot Serum" will be sold as a special set including an additional seven-day supply alongside the standard 30ml bottle, while the "Glutathione 7 Dark Spot Serum Patch" will be available at a 40 percent discount.

 

In particular, Manyo Factory will newly introduce the "Glutathione 7 Dark Spot Skin Booster Whitening Toner" during the sale.

 

The new product, described as a "first skin booster" designed to improve skin condition immediately after cleansing and enhance the effectiveness of serums, recently topped overall rankings on Japan's Qoo10 shortly after its launch there. It will be sold at a 22 percent discount during the sales event.

 

A Manyo Factory official said, "For this June Olive Young sale, we prepared a variety of benefits centered on the products that received the strongest customer response during the first half of the year, including the Pokemon edition."

 

"The company also plans to expand its global customer touchpoints following its entry into Olive Young's first U.S. store in Pasadena at the end of May," the official added.

 

Manyo Factory's products included in the promotion will be available at Olive Young stores nationwide and through its online mall from May 31 to June 6.
