SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- K-pop singer HYNN will release her new EP, "Summer Grain," on Aug. 13, her agency New Order Entertainment said Wednesday.

 

The album features songs by ballad composers Juho and Rohigh, as well as KZ, who produced Younha's "Event Horizon." HYNN also participated in writing and composing the self-written track "A Certain Stranger."

 

HYNN selected the breakup ballad "Three Days Later," which incorporates 1990s-style retro R&B sensibilities, and the pop R&B ballad "It's Not Like a Meteor Hit and the World Came to an End" as the EP's double title tracks.

 

Following the release of "Summer Grain," HYNN will hold her solo summer concert, "Midnight Blue : Luna-rium," at Yonsei University Auditorium in Seoul on Aug. 15-16, where she will perform the new songs live for the first time.

 

The concert will be staged under the concept of "a secret garden that opens only when illuminated by moonlight."

 

Dancers Yoon Hyuk-joong, Kim Yu-chan and Park Jin-ho, who appeared on Mnet's "Stage Fighter," will make special guest appearances, presenting unique performances combined with HYNN's music.
