SEOUL, Aug. 3 (Yonhap) -- Girls’ Generation’s main dancer, Hyo-yeon, also known as DJ HYO, is joining the female solo artists’ August line-up with a new single.

Her new song “Second” will be released on the 9th, according to the artist’s agency SM Entertainment, Tuesday.

“Second” is an up-tempo dance pop with heavy 808 bass sound. The lyrics deliver a message that it is okay to give yourself enough time to rest even in the busy and repetitive everyday lives.

The song is features BIBI, a rookie singer-songwriter, who took part in writing the lyrics.

“Listeners will be able to enjoy the synergy between Hyo-yeon’s powerful voice and BIBI’s unique rap,” said SM Entertainment.

Many female solo singers are heating up the music scene this month with their returns.

Jeon Somi has come back on stage with her new song “Dumb Dumb” on the 2nd , and on the 6th, Sunmi will surprise her fans with a new mini album “1/6.” Lisa from BLACKPINK and former 2NE1’s leader CL are also hinting for their come-backs.
