G-Dragon-led Music Variety Show 'Good Day' Debuts with 4.3 Viewership

SEOUL, Feb. 17 (Yonhap) -- The music variety show Good Day, featuring G-Dragon as its main attraction, kicked off with a viewership rating in the 4 percent range.

 

The first episode of MBC's variety program Good Day, which aired at 9:10 p.m. the previous day, recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 4.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea on Monday. 

 

Good Day is a variety show where G-Dragon takes on the role of producer, collaborating with actors, broadcasters, chefs, and other notable figures to create the song of the year.

The first episode featured comedian duo Jung Hyung-don and Defconn, who previously worked with G-Dragon on Infinite Challenge, as well as Code Kunst, Kian84, Cho Sae-ho, and actor Kim Soo-hyun.

 

The show originated from an idea by G-Dragon and drew attention as the first MBC variety program in three years by Kim Tae-ho, the renowned producer behind Infinite Challenge, who left MBC in 2022.

 

A teaser video for Good Day, released on MBC's YouTube channel two weeks ago, has already surpassed 1.7 million views.

 

Good Day airs every Sunday.
