Lee Jae-wook's agency vows 'legal action against defamation and malicious insults'

SEOUL, Feb. 29 (Yonhap) -- Actor Lee Jae-wook, who recently admitted to dating with Karina of the group aespa, has announced that he will take legal action against online defamation and insults.

 

Lee Jae-wook's agency, C-JeS Studio, stated on the 29th, "Despite our earnest request to observe the two individuals (Lee Jae-wook and Karina) as they cautiously get to know each other with warm regards, we have confirmed malicious posts online that defame the actor and contain false information with malicious intent."

 

The agency further stated, "We will take strong legal action through legal representatives against serious infringements of personality rights in civil and criminal matters," and added, "We are monitoring online activities regularly."

 

Lee Jae-wook admitted through his agency on the 27th, after rumors of his relationship with Karina were revealed through the report of the entertainment media Dispatch, that "the two are now getting to know each other." It was reported that the two first met and started dating at a Milan fashion show last month.
