SEOUL, Apr. 16 (Yonhap) -- Group Seventeen's first English digital single "Darl+ing" topped the iTunes charts in a total of 34 countries, according to the agency Pledis Entertainment, Saturday.
"Darl+ing," which dropped on Friday, is a pre-released song of the band's fourth full-length album that will come out in May. The English-language single expresses the story dedicated to Seventeen's fanbase Carat.
The song topped the iTunes charts in 34 countries including Singapore, Philippines, Egypt, and Indonesia, and entered the Top 10 in 46 countries.
Leading overseas music magazines such as Billboard·Rolling Stone in the U.S., and NME in the U.K. brought "Darl+ing" into the spotlight.
Seventeen also performed "Darl+ing" for the first time in the U.S. music program MTV's "Flash Out Live" on Friday. This is the third time for the group to appear in the music show.
