SEOUL, Dec. 4 (Yonhap) -- “MMA 2021” (Melon Music Awards 2021) which is held by Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon will take place online at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Korea’s star K-pop celebrities such as IU, Lee Mu-jin, Heize, Im Young-woon, MSG Wannbe, Tomorrow X Together, The Boyz, ENHYPEN, Brave Girls and STAY C will attend the awards.

Melon will award for 6 major categories such as “Artist of the Year,” “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year,” 8 best awards and 10 special awards.

IU will joint stage live her new song in November “Strawberry Moon” with an 8-piece band for the awards.

The awards will broadcast live through Melon app·web, Kakao TV channel in Kakao View Tap and Kakao TV app·web.
