SEOUL, May 19 (Yonhap) -- SBS’ new television series “The Devil” will premiere next month, the national broadcaster said Friday.
Based on the script written by the highly acclaimed writer Kim Eun-hee, the series will feature a woman named Koo San-young, who is possessed by an evil spirit, and Yeom Hae-sang who can see the evil spirits. It will follow the story of these two uncovering the truth of a mysterious death.
In this upcoming occult mystery thriller series, Kim Tae-ri will co-star as Koo, and Oh Jung-se will suit up as Yeom.
Writer Kim has credits for writing multiple hit television series, including “Signal” (2016) and Netflix’s “Kingdom” series (2019 - 2021).
“The Devil” will hit the small screens at 10 p.m. on June 23 (KST).
