SEOUL, May 10 (Yonhap) -- Documentary films featuring J-Hope and Suga of global sensation BTS will be available in theaters next month, film distributor said on Wednesday.
Documentaries "j-hope IN THE BOX" and "SUGA: Road to D-DAY" will be released at local cinemas in June to mark the K-pop superband's 10th anniversary, according to distributor Lotte Cultureworks and Filmgram.
"j-hope IN THE BOX" features J-Hope's first solo album production and activities, as well as his performance in Lollapalooza, where he performed as a headliner.
"SUGA: Road to D-DAY" is a road movie documentary about Suga's journey to create a solo album. It also portrays his efforts to interact with artists around the world, and find messages he wants to convey through music.
After the Korea launch, the two films will be also available in movie theaters around the globe, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
The two documentaries had been previously released on giant video streaming platform Disney+.
