SEOUL, Nov. 5 (Yonhap) -- Actor Lee Ji-hoon has delivered his announcement regarding the rumors surrounding the incidents that happened in the shooting site of the new IHQ series, “Sponser.”
“I wish for no more misunderstandings and speculations,” said Lee.
“I am solely sorry for the conflict between my acquaintance and the FD at the site. I will make sure not to bring any acquaintance to a shooting site again,” apologized the actor on his Instagram Friday.
He explained that although it was true that he was angry at the FD behaving impolitely not only to the actor himself but also to his manager and the other actors as well, he did not stand for his acquaintance when the two were arguing. Also, he added that he waited to apologize to the FD on the day but couldn’t because the staff avoided him.
“When shooting outdoors, there wasn’t a decent place to change so I got changed in the car, bathroom or on the street. The rumor that I had a tantrum with my pants off is ridiculous,” said Lee.
Furthermore, about writer Park Kye-hyung’s claim that Lee had half of the staff, including Park, fired, Lee said, “Never heard of it. I don’t even have the guts to bully someone.”
“I feel devastated at these misinformed and exaggerated articles. I am sincerely sorry for concerning everyone with this recent issue. I, as a public figure, will try hard to act more wisely in any moment.”
Earlier, Lee has been reported that his acquaintance who visited “Sponsor”’s shooting site had an argument with one of the staff and was rumored to have made half of the production crew dismissed and took off his pants in public.
