SEOUL, Feb. 29 (Yonhap) -- On the 29th, CL, the renowned K-pop artist, made history as the first K-pop artist to join the judging panel for the prestigious "2024 LVMH Prize," as announced by her label, Very Cherry.
The "LVMH Prize" is a globally recognized fashion award organized by the LVMH Group, which owns brands like Louis Vuitton. It aims to discover and support young and creative designers who will lead the future of fashion industry.
Officials of the "LVMH Prize" expressed their joy in a statement on their social media by stating, "We are pleased to have CL as one of the new experts in this year's semi-finals. CL, a world-famous artist who has successfully worked across borders for several years, is a performer, K-pop idol, musician, and composer from Korea."
CL has been recognized not only for her musical talents but also for her unique and strong presence in the fashion industry since her debut as a member of the K-pop girl group 2NE1 in 2009.
