SEOUL, Nov. 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group NewJeans and sibling duo AKMU will perform as guest artists at Japanese duo YOASOBI's concert next month, event organizer Rivet said on Friday.
The stage will take place on Dec. 7–8 at Incheon Inspire Arena.
NewJeans will take the stage on the first day, Dec. 7, while AKMU will perform on the second day, Dec. 8.
YOASOBI, widely recognized for their hit song "Idol," the opening theme of Japnese anime "Oshi no Ko," gained significant popularity and held their first concert in Korea in December last year. NewJeans featured as a guest during YOASOBI’s fan meeting, Bunnies Camp, held at Tokyo Dome in June this year.
Ahead of the concert, YOASOBI will run a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul from Nov. 28 to December 4.
The J-pop duo are also scheduled to perform at the Melon Music Awards 2024 on Nov. 30.
