SEOUL, June 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korean boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER is set to drop a joint single with the American pop-rock band Jonas Brothers on July 7, its agency said Thursday.
After making its break-out debut in 2005, the Jonas Brothers delivered multiple hit tracks, including “Sucker” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, TXT has lately been building a solid fanbase in North America: In January, the quintet achieved the feat of landing the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 with its fifth mini album “Temptation,” according to BigHit Music.
In August, the band will also perform as one of the headliners at the highly prestigious American music festival Lollapalooza.
Titled “Do It Like That,” the upcoming collab single between TXT and Jonas Brothers will continue what is already a blockbuster year for both groups. By teaming up with one of the well-received local artists, TXT is expected to gear up for more activities in North America.
