SEOUL, June 5 (Yonhap) -- K-pop diva Kim Wan-sun will release her new mini-album "HI, ROSA’s REFINE DAY" on June 10, according to her agency KWSunflower on Thursday. 

 

The album includes the title track "HI ROSA" and the dreamy R&B track "REFINE DAY," along with newly produced versions of her hit songs "Tonight," "The Pierrot Is Laughing at Us," and "Dance in the Rhythm."

 

"HI ROSA" is Kim Wan-sun’s first attempt at a Latin pop style that blends reggaeton and Afrobeats. The song tells the story of a person who, like a rose that blooms endlessly, rises again to find their identity despite repeated hardships.

 

The agency said, “This new style comes with a vocal transformation, but you can still sense Kim Wan-sun’s unique tone shining through.”

 

At 6 p.m. on the 10th, the album will be released alongside the music video for "HI ROSA," which will premiere on Kim Wan-sun’s official YouTube channel, “Kim Wan-sun TV.”
