SEOUL, Mar. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean veteran actresses Kim Hee-ae and Moon So-ri have confirmed to star in Netflix’s upcoming series “Queen Maker,” the world’s leading streaming service announced Friday.

“Queen Maker” will follow the story of Hwang Do-hee, a master of image-making, getting into politics to help candidate Oh Kyung-sook, a human rights lawyer who fights against the world, become the next mayor of Seoul.

In this forthcoming political drama series, Kim will suit up as Hwang Do-hee, a former executive at a strategic planning department of a conglomerate who takes the lead as a general manager of an election campaign to win the title of the “Queen” on behalf of candidate Oh Kyung-sook.

Meanwhile, Moon has been slated to appear as a lawyer-turned-candidate Oh Kyung-sook, also dubbed the justice fighter.
