SEOUL, April 10 (Yonhap) -- CJ Olive Young said Friday it will introduce its own membership-based rewards system, “Olive Point,” for its loyalty program “Olive Members” in May to enhance customer benefits.
The new “Olive Point” system allows members to earn and use points like cash when making purchases both online and at offline stores. It is designed to encourage customers to participate in various promotions and services across channels while accumulating additional rewards.
Members of “Olive Members” will be able to earn Olive Points on top of existing CJ ONE points. The company plans to roll out a series of events offering Olive Point accrual benefits sequentially starting in May.
Olive Young has continued to strengthen benefits for loyal customers under its “Olive Members” program. Moving beyond simple discount coupons based on membership tiers, the company has been expanding experiential content and brand engagement unique to Olive Young.
It has also broadened hands-on benefits, particularly for top-tier members in the Gold and Black categories. The company operates a monthly “Olive Class” program in collaboration with beauty and wellness brands.
Recently, it has expanded offerings to include cooking classes in partnership with Hyundai Card Cooking Library and both online and offline courses through collaboration with the talent-sharing platform Tal-ing, providing personalized beauty and wellness experiences.
An Olive Young official said the company will continue to enhance both online and offline benefits centered on “Olive Members” to expand customers’ beauty and wellness experiences.
Membership tiers are determined based on cumulative purchases over the previous six months, with five levels: Gold for purchases of 1 million won or more, Black for 700,000 to under 1 million won, Green for 400,000 to under 700,000 won, Pink for 100,000 to under 400,000 won, and Baby for less than 100,000 won.
