SEOUL February 27 (Yonhap) -- Busan International Short Film Festival addressed on Monday, that they have carefully selected total of 60 of the films which will compete against one another throughout the 40th Busan International Short Film Festival.

Over 3582 of the short films have been gathered from over 113 various countries within the duration of November, 2022 until January of 2023, f

Committee members who have worked on the film selection for the upcoming festival have selected 40 for the films for the international competition, 20 for the domestic competition, therefore in total of 60 short films have been selected.

60 of the films that has been selected will be showcased throughout the “Busan International Short Film Festival” and through thorough examination, 10 of the awards will be carefully selected and will be awarded.

The “40th Busan International Short Film Festival” will kick off in April 25, and continue on until May 2 at the Busan Cinema Center, and Motungi Theater.
