SEOUL February 14 (Yonhap) -- Webtoon featuring the Virtual quartet K-pop girl group Mave will be reveled to the public.

Kakao Entertainment addressed on Tuesday that the upcoming Webtoon “Mave” will be sharing the set environment with the virtual quartet K-pop girl group Mave. The Webtoon will be revealed on February 20 through Kakao Page and Kakao Webtoon.

Members of the Virtual K-pop girl group Mave, SIU, ZENA, MARTY and TYRA will be the protagonists who crash lands in South Korea and participates in a K-pop idol audition.

Recently Kakao Entertainment has been showcasing various Webtoons and Web novels regarding K-pop.

Kakao Entertainment which successfully premiered its webnovel “1 for 9” which was released in 2022 featuring the world of Brand New Music’s boy group YOUNITE, is currently continuing on with their novel based on the characters from the virtual girl group survival “RE:VERSE”

Although there isn’t a real model to base off from, the company is continuing on with their production of K-pop idol related contents such as “Debut or Die,” “Second Try Idol,” and much more.
