SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- A documentary film capturing BTS RM’s journey in creating his solo album is set for a global theatrical release.
According to Big Hit Music on October 30, "RM: Right People, Wrong Place" will officially premiere in 90 countries, including South Korea, on December 5. RM shared the film’s main poster on BTS's official social media, featuring a creative collage of RM across different spaces.
Directed by Lee Seok-jun, the documentary covers RM's eight-month process of producing his second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person."
The film delves into the thoughts and challenges faced by RM, not only as BTS's leader but as the artist and individual, Kim Nam-joon. It was the first K-pop documentary to be officially invited to the Open Cinema section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival, where it premiered earlier this month.
Alongside this documentary, RM continues to be recognized for his artistic contributions, including his music videos.
The music video for his album’s title track, "LOST!" recently won awards at several international festivals, including the 2024 Berlin Commercial Awards, Sislope Festival, and the UK Music Video Awards 2024.
