SEOUL, April 24 (Yonhap) -- Lotte Duty Free said Friday it has launched a new branding campaign with its global ambassador, K-pop girl group aespa.
The campaign, "TRIP LOTTE DUTY FREE," reflects the company's goal of becoming a must-visit destination for travelers.
In promotional videos introducing the campaign, member Karina showcases a "bag street," Winter presents a "beauty hotspot," Ningning highlights a "jewelry spot," and Giselle features a "sunglasses tower," each promoting different aspects of duty-free shopping.
Lotte Duty Free said it plans to expand the campaign's concept into offline stores to enhance customer engagement.
The company will set up themed "episode zones" and life-size standees of aespa members at its major stores, including the World Tower, Busan and Jeju branches, while displaying the members' handprints at all downtown outlets.
A company official said the campaign aims to position Lotte Duty Free as not just a shopping venue but a travel destination in South Korea, adding that it will continue to strengthen differentiated marketing strategies leveraging K-content to attract global customers.
