Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles to kick off art exhibition 'Celebration' featuring ZiBEZI, BDB and more

SEOUL March 30 (Yonhap) -- Art exhibition which is expected to showcase various rising artists active within South Korea and United States will kick off in Los Angeles.

Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles will be showcasing a special exhibition commemorating the 70thh anniversary of the ROK-U.S. Alliance titled “Celebration” starting on April 6 until 28 on the second floor of the art gallery located within the Korean Cultural Center.

The upcoming exhibition is a collaborative show hosted between “LA Art Show” which is considered one of the biggest modern art exhibition held within the west side of United States, and Korean Cultural Center where artists who are active throughout LA such as ZiBEZI, DBD and more will showcase about 50 various pieces.

South Korean artist ZiBEZI is known for his art work which was featured in director Bong Joon-ho’s movie “Parasite.” By using markers and acrylic paints, artist showcases various objects such as love, house, patterns and more.

Producer BDB is an American modern artist who uses the form of street art to showcase pop icons, and through his unique art work, BDB has received a lot of recognition.

On April 22 at 1 p.m. various artist will participate in “Artist Talk” event where visitors will be able to engage in small chats with the artist.

The representative of the Korean Cultural Center located within LA addressed “Through the upcoming art exhibition we will do our best to expand the recognition and foundation of K-ART.”
