SEOUL, October 4 (Yonhap) -- Main cultural heritages such as Gyeongju Cheomseongdae, white porcelain moon jar, and more will be available in 3D on the Naver knowledge encyclopedia. 
 
The Cultural Heritage Administration announced that 3D cultural heritage information produced through digital technology will be released on Naver Knowledge Encyclopedia starting from Tuesday. 
 
It is a service under the "Business Agreement for Spreading the Value of Cultural Heritage" signed with Naver in 2014. It vividly embodies the appearance of cultural heritage based on three-dimensional circular records held by the Cultural Heritage Administration.
 
A total of one hundred 3D items will be available.


A total of 24 national treasures will be available, including the East and West Three-story Stone Pagodas at Gameunsa Temple Site, Cheomseongdae, and white porcelain moon jars. 
 
Along with these, there will be 70 treasures available, including the Ordination Platform of Yongyeonsa Temple, Dalseong, Daegu, three National Folklore Cultural Heritage, and three registered cultural heritages in 3D. 


The leader of Naver Knowledge Encyclopedia, Kim Hyun-sook, said, "The quality of the knowledge encyclopedia service related to cultural heritage has greatly improved as high-quality 3D content was added to fragmentary cultural heritage information centered on photos and text descriptions."
 
The Cultural Heritage Administration will continue to increase the amount of 3D cultural heritage content available.An official from the Cultural Heritage Administration said, "We will open the source data of cultural heritage so that the public can enjoy a wide range of high-quality digital cultural heritage services, and expand the development and dissemination of digital content through private cooperation."
