SEOUL, June 13 (Yonhap) -- The Gyeongju National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage will be holding the excavation experience event "If our house is excavated in 50 years" from the 17th till the 18th at the site in Gyeongju where the Silla Jjoksaem was excavated.

The participants will be able to explore the ruins of Jjoksaem and take a lecture on archaeological theory. Along with that, they will be able to experience excavation, write an investigation report and bury fake artifacts.

Gyeongju Jjoksaem Remains Excavation Center, where the tombs of the royal family and nobles of Silla was gathered is as big as the size of 16 soccer fields.
