SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean boy band TREASURE successfully held the band’s first concert at Kyocera Dome in Osaka from Saturday to Sunday, wrapping up the band’s tour in Japan in a total of 7 cities, the band’s agency YG Entertainment announced.

The ten-piece group attracted a total of 300,000 fans throughout their tour. “This is the largest number of audiences in terms of K-pop artists’ first concert in Japan,” YG Entertainment explained. “At the press conference held ahead of the last act, major media presses, including Japan’s 6 major sports magazines, attended and enthusiastically covered TREASURE’s performances.”

The act delivered lively performances for about three hours with the band’s hit and cover songs, including “JIKJIN,” “BOY,” and “I LOVE YOU.” Special effects such as movie-like VCR movies, 7 super-large LED screens, and lasers enriched the gigs.

The group will continue its Asia tour, starting with Taipei, Taiwan in March, which will then be followed by performances in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Bangkok, Thailand.

TREASURE consists of 10 members, including Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, and So Jung-hwan.
