SEOUL, March 19 (Yonhap) -- Jin (birth name: Kim Seok-jin), a member of the K-pop superband BTS, suffered a finger injury and underwent surgery.

The member's agency Big Hit Music said on the 19th, "Jin underwent surgery to suture the disparaging muscle of his left index finger yesterday afternoon (18th)."

According to the agency, Jin injured his hand while living his daily life the previous day. As a result of visiting the emergency room of a nearby hospital for examination, he was diagnosed that some of the tendons of his index finger were damaged and surgery was necessary.
