SEOUL, Dec. 15 (Yonhap) -- South Korean OTT service platform TVing has confirmed to produce season 2 for its popular series “Work Later, Drink Now." 

The cast for season 2 includes the 4 lead actors from season 1 – Lee Sun-bin, Han Sun-hwa, Jung Eun-ji and Choi Si-won – according to TVing Wednesday.

The series depicts the daily lives of three women who live to grab a drink at the end of the day. The production became an issue and its official YouTube clip video marking 60 million hits.

Based on Daum webtoon “Drinker City Women,” the series received a lot of love with its story dealing with common daily lives such as the sorrows of workers and the scenes of drinking parties through the three women’s friendship.

The 4 main characters will spread a smile across the watchers’ faces in season 2 as well.

For the fans looking forward to season 2, the producers instantly prepared its second season as soon as season 1 finished, said TVing’s officials.

“We will back with a realistic drama that gives comfort and healing with its unique chemi and exciting episodes to the watchers like old drinking-mate” added TVing.

Season 2 will be released in 2022.
