SEOUL, Nov. 21 (Yonhap) -- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) said Friday that a total of 84 business consultations were held during the “2025 K-Content Originals U.S. Showcase,” held Nov. 12–14 at the Korea Center in Los Angeles.
Eight Korean companies — MBC America, Just IP, Epic Holdings, eComix Media, Swimming Pool, Big Ocean ENM, Siwoo Company and Studio S — presented their original content to around 60 U.S. content creators and industry personnel.
During the subsequent one-on-one meetings, discussions advanced on collaborative development, adaptation and expanded partnership models, totaling 84 consultations. KOCCA noted that some projects have already moved to follow-up stages and carry strong potential to become actual commercial ventures.
Park Byung-ho, head of KOCCA’s LA Business Center, said current interest in K-content in the U.S. is “not a temporary trend but a structural shift that continues to grow,” adding that the agency will strengthen on-site support tailored to real demand from creators, producers and platforms.
