SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- Mnet said Wednesday its dance competition show "Street World Fighter: Directors War" (hereafter "SWF Directors War") will premiere in August.

Mnet previously showcased dancers' fierce competitions through such series as "Street Woman Fighter" and "Street Man Fighter." The upcoming "SWF Directors War" will instead focus on performance directors responsible for planning and completing stage productions.

Among the cast members is Nine, who participated in choreography directing for "Golden," an original soundtrack song from the globally popular Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters.

The lineup also includes Renan, who gained recognition through performances for aespa; Bada, leader of dance crew BEBE, which won "Street Woman Fighter 2"; and Baek Kooyoung, known for creating iconic performances for idol groups including EXO.

Other participants include Baby Ju, performance director for co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT; Simizu, who created performances for IVE; Ingyoo of We Dem Boyz, runner-up crew on "Street Man Fighter"; Casper, who directed Taemin's Coachella stage; and choreographers Jung Min-jun and Hash.
