SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) -- Amorepacific has launched the second edition of its social contribution campaign, "Meet Your Beauty Academy," with an inauguration ceremony held at the company's headquarters, the cosmetics maker said Thursday.

The event, held Tuesday, brought together 25 participants selected for the program, who shared their plans for the next three months as they embarked on their journey to become beauty and wellness content creators.

"Meet Your Beauty Academy" is a campaign designed to foster beauty and wellness creators who promote individuality while pursuing social value based on the concept of "beauty true to oneself."

More than twice as many people applied for the second edition compared with the inaugural program, reflecting growing interest in the campaign, the company said.

Amorepacific said it expects participants to produce high-quality content by combining their personal experiences with their content creation skills, built on broad support for the campaign's message.

The inauguration ceremony featured educational sessions on the company's "Positive Beauty" philosophy and wellness, a special lecture by creator Minsco, a mentoring session led by outstanding graduates from the first program, and tours of the company's headquarters and Amore Yongsan.

Minsco shared guidance on building a career as a content creator, while mentors from the first cohort offered practical advice on establishing content channels, planning content and completing program assignments.

The second program expands its focus beyond conventional standards of appearance to embrace a holistic beauty perspective that encompasses lifelong health and well-being.

Participants will produce wellness-centered content while taking part in programs such as a tour of the Amorepacific Museum of Art, an Osulloc tea course experience, and mindfulness and color therapy sessions aimed at promoting balanced physical and mental well-being.

The curriculum will also continue to offer content branding education and experiential activities featuring Amorepacific brands, which received positive feedback from participants in the first program.

"We have further enhanced the program by incorporating the concept of holistic beauty," an Amorepacific official said. "We hope participants will grow into creators who spread positive influence based on beauty that is true to themselves."
