SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- Innisfree on Wednesday launched an upgraded version of its bestselling "Retinol Cica Pore Trace Ampoule," featuring an enhanced formula designed to deliver stronger retinol benefits while remaining gentle on the skin.

 

The new product builds on the success of the original "Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule," which has sold a cumulative 7.96 million units since its launch in September 2021 and gained popularity as an introductory retinol skincare product, frequently selling out at Olive Young stores.

 

Based on research into the primary skincare concerns of consumers in their 20s, Innisfree said it developed the new formula to strengthen the efficacy of retinol while minimizing skin irritation.

 

The upgraded "Retinol Cica Pore Trace Ampoule" contains an enhanced formula featuring the company's 3X Retinol Complex and 3X Cica™. The low-irritation ampoule is designed to smooth visible skin imperfections while improving the firmness of skin around enlarged pores.
