SEOUL April 24 (Yonhap) -- As tensions escalate between Min Hee-jin, CEO of the agency Ador, to which the girl group NewJeans belongs, and its parent company Hybe, some NewJeans fans have raised their voices through a truck protest.
According to the music industry on the 24th, some "Bernies" (NewJeans fandom) sent a protest truck to the front of the Hybe headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in the morning, displaying messages such as "Min Hee-jin, stop exploiting NewJeans and their family" and others.
Fans also claimed, "Min Hee-jin, stop defaming other artists immediately," and "Bernies support NewJeans under Hybe."
NewJeans is gearing up for the release of their new music video for "Bubble Gum" on the 27th and the unveiling of their new single "How Sweet" on the 24th of next month.
